The Adapt 600 is made-to-measure, so you have a chair that supports your unique body in all the right places. This is all designed to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal problems, reduce the symptoms of existing conditions, and improve productivity while you work.

As standard, your chair has a memory foam seat, seat depth and backrest height adjustment and inflatable lumbar support. 

The Adapt 600 can be customised to your individual requirements by using the easiSpec system to choose the tailored size and any adaptations you need. Colour and Finish

We supply the Adapt 600 in fabric as standard with the choice of 30 colour options, if you do not see your preferred colour or would like to know about other finishes that are available do please get in touch.

This range of fabric is suitable for use in the home and office environment and meet the relevant British Safety Standards, more information can be found in specifications.

Head Support

The Adapt range of head and neck rests are designed to enhance your comfort, whilst working or resting. A range of head and neck supports are available, with a variety of pad shapes and sizes. These also move and articulate in different ways to provide an option to suit everyone.

Backrest Enhancements

Memory foam backrest

The Adapt 600 comes with a memory foam seat as standard. Add a memory foam back for additional comfort. The soft foam reduces surface tension for a supported feel.

Flattened backrest

A flattened backrest provides more support to the whole back compared to the standard backrest which has a more defined lumbar curve in it. A flattened backrest is good for those who may have spinal fusion or disc issues that can affect the upper back.

Sculpted back Foam

Ensure your chair is contoured to your unique shape with foam sculpting.

Foam support wings

Add support wings to either side of your chair for a supreme level of comfort and sophistication.

Sacral support cell

Inflatable support across the ‘sacrum’ (base of the spine), especially beneficial for those with sciatic and pelvic support issues.

Reactive lumbar support 

The Adapt 600 comes with one-chamber lumbar support as standard. Ensure your chair is contoured to your body with this adjustable three-chamber inflatable lumbar cushion for variable support across a greater area of your back.

Reactive vertical support

Add a vertical air cell either on the left or right side of the chair (or both) to offer additional lateral support if needed.

Thoracic support cell

This air cell can be placed between the shoulder blades to offer thoracic support. 

Vertical support cell

This air cell can be placed on the right, left or both sides of the chair to help accommodate a gap in back contact or offer general lateral support.

Reduced back width

A narrower back for a more petite user.

Extended back bar

Add 100mm to your back bar.

Armrests

Armrests should provide support under your elbow without you having to stretch to reach them. The Adapt range of armrests has been created to give the best possible level of adjustability and function. All of the armrests are height-adjustable with many of them offering additional width and depth adjustment. We can also custom-make armrest pads to specific sizes and shapes.

Some armrests are available with:

• Gel pads to add an extra layer of comfort.
• Upholstered pads if you’d like to match your arm pads to your chair colour.

Seat Enhancements

Seat style

Maximise the comfort of your chair by upgrading the seat shape to one of three options - or have your own bespoke split seat designed.

Internal sprung seat

Add for extra suspension and comfort.

Memory foam seat (additional layer)

Add another 20mm to your seat, or opt for a stitched cover to reduce surface tension further.

Thigh support

Add an inflatable air cell either on the left or right side of the chair (or both) to take pressure off the middle of the seat. This is especially beneficial for people with muscle-wastage conditions. An ErgoCore cell can help to strengthen your core and back muscles while you sit with this dual-chamber air-cell option which sits inside the seat - useful for sciatic relief.

Coccyx cut-out

Select a cut-out in the seat to relieve pressure around the coccyx area.

Seat size

Swap the standard seat for an XL (510 mm wide x 500 mm deep) or XXL size (610 mm wide x 610 mm deep). 

Reduced seat depth

If none of our standard sizes suit you, opt for a reduced seat depth. There should always be room to slip your hand between the seat and the backs of your calves. (Minimum size 340 mm)

Reduced seat width

If none of our standard sizes suit you, opt for a reduced seat width. (Minimum size 410 mm)

Lower Chair Enhancements

Gas stem

The gas stem determines the height of the chair, as standard this is 480mm - 630mm. You can choose two alternative sizes:

• 430mm - 540mm 
• 620mm - 820mm

Swivel lock

The swivel lock function allows you to lock the chair in one position — useful for precision tasks.

Chair base

Choose a five-star base in polished aluminium to enhance the look of your chair.

Extended levers

Add an additional 200mm in length to the chair lever mechanisms, when extended the levers are also bent upwards towards the seat allowing for an easier adjustment for users with limited mobility.

• Extended Front Lever - Activates the free float mechanism

Castors, Footrest and Movement Control

Description	As standard we offer 65 mm castors for the best ‘roll’ on carpeted floors. For bare floors brake-loaded castors may be a more suitable option. Brake-loaded castors brake when you sit on the chair to provide more stability. Brake-unloaded castors provide stability when you are getting on the chair, once on you can then move about freely.	This clever device will hold your chair still should you need to transfer to and from a wheelchair or prevent the chair from moving, for intricate tasks. Activate the hand or battery pump to inflate the air-cell and engage the nonslip feet. Comes with non-swivel column as standard. Other gas lifts available upon request. <>When fitted it reduces the height range of the gas stem by 20-50 mm.	This option is the first of our places to rest your feet whilst sitting.	The second in our range, the Half Footplate option also offers height adjustment.	The third option in this range offers a deeper plate along with the height adjustment function.

Due to the bespoke nature of this product, which is specifically made for your requirements, this item is non-returnable.

If in the very unlikely event the item arrives faulty, we will attempt to rectify the situation. Please notify us within 24 hours after receiving your chair if any faults are found.
