A new update for the BlindShell Classic 2 has just been released.

• The update includes the following:
• Automatic Text-To-Speech language switching
• Enhanced processing of long texts
• Mobile data usage counter
• When the screen is turned off, the confirmation button will announce missed notifications if any (in addition to time)
  Enhancements in the SMS app (multiple recipients, delivery notification) and fixes of occasional crashes. Contacts: enhancements for importing and exporting contacts and bug fixes
• Fixed incorrect date pronunciation
• Update to avoid crashes in Bluetooth

To install the update, navigate to settings in the menu and select System Update and Check for updates. 

The phone will announce that version 5.0.7.5 is available for download. Press the centre line on the top row of the phone and it will announce download now. 

Click the green button on the left on the second row of the phone and the download will start automatically. The phone will announce how the download is performing until it is complete.

You will then be asked if you would like to install the update. If you would like to proceed press the green button again and it will install and restart the phone. It will announce it is updating and the progress level.

Once the update has completed the phone will restart and be ready to use.
