At VisionAid we understand that living with vision loss can be challenging but the good news is it doesn't mean you have to give up on the activities you enjoy!

Reading writing, crafts, hobbies are all still accessible if you have the right tools.

Our team of specialists are here to help understand each individual's specific needs and provide support and guidance to identify the solution to help you achieve your goals.

We have a wide range of solutions for all levels of vision loss and all technical abilities.

Initial Conversation

During your first contact, we will discuss your individual circumstances and offer advice on which solutions could be suitable for your requirements.

For our low vision solutions, it helps us to know the level of magnification that you find most comfortable to read. Our magnification guide helps to determine the magnification level you require. Please follow the instructions on the guide for its correct usage.

Please click here to download our magnification guide  PDF

Alternatively, you can request a copy of our catalogue which includes a copy of the magnification guide on the back cover.

For our wearable magnifier solutions, we do usually require a little more information from you.

We will ask you for your eye condition and also your visual acuity (VA). The VA will help us to know if your vision level could be suited to a wearable device.

If unknown, you can contact your optician or eye specialist for this information as they hold this within your clinical notes, the VA can be written in a number of ways; a fraction eg. 6/12, 6/60, 6/120, a decimal eg. 0.8, 6.3, or as letters eg. CF, HM, NPL.

After our discussion, we can recommend some solutions that we feel could be suited to your requirements.

Arranging A Demonstration

We offer free, no-obligation demonstrations for most of the solutions that we supply.

Demonstrations of our solutions can be provided either remotely via a video link such as Zoom or Teams, or one of our team can visit you in person either at home or in your workplace.

Requesting a demonstration can be done a number of ways, you can call us on 0800 002 5555 option 2, submit your request online by using the 'Try it at home' button on the specific product page of the solution, or complete our book a demonstration online form.

Once we have received your demonstration request one of the team will be in touch to advise of our availability within your area. We cover the whole of the UK for product demonstrations.
