This simple TV remote control has eight large, programmable buttons putting you in charge of what you watch. Ideal for people with sight loss or limited dexterity, it may also be useful for people with dementia.

This universal remote is designed to be as easy as possible to use. It has only eight buttons, all with large markings, that have good colour contrast with the black casing: power, mute, AV, volume up, volume down, channel up, channel down, and profile select (the remote can be programmed for two TVs – just switch between profiles to watch the one you want). You can programme each individual button (except profile selection).

Set-up is quick and easy, using simple point-and-click programming (you will need your TV’s original remote control to ‘teach’ the Easy TV5 the commands). This remote is suitable for TVs with built-in Freeview digital channels, but may not be suitable for use with set-top boxes.
