The starting magnification is 5X when you place RUBY directly on a document with the handle folded closed and it has 3 magnification levels: 5x, 7.5x and 10x. Extend the handle and you have a magnification range from 2x–14x magnification depending on how far you hold the magnifier away from your object or document.
