The Ruby 10 can be used to magnify letters, magazines, labels, and photos with the swing-out arm you can also use the Ruby 10 to view items in your hand and write. The third camera is dedicated to seeing objects at a short distance such as signs and menus on a wall, making the Ruby 10 a versatile magnifier that can used to meet a variety of different needs. Using the swing-out arm you also benefit from full-page OCR with a touch of a button you can have your document read aloud to you!

Unique colour blindness enhancements that shift specific colours to assist colour differentiation in real-time. These filters are intended to improve contrast for protanopia (colour blindness to red), deuteranopia (colour blindness to green), and tritanopia (colour blindness to blue).

It is designed to achieve comfort while maintaining luminance and contrast levels acceptable to the user.
