Do I need a SIM enabled tablet?

Choosing the SIM version of a tablet gives you to access the Internet when away from Wifi and also allows you to make phone calls and send text messages, in addition to all the normal tablet functions! 

• Select the SIM Version of our Synapptic tablets to combine all the features of a tablet and a smartphone in once device. SIM tablets enable you to make calls and use text messaging as well as giving access to the Internet when away from Wifi
• SIM enabled tablets have a extra small slot that accepts a SIM card, just like a phone
• All our phones and tablets are factory unlocked. Use a SIM card from any of the major networks, including EE, BT, Vodaphone, O2, 3, Virgin Mobile, T-mobile, GiffGaff, Tesco Mobile and ASDA mobile
• SIM cards can be either Pay-as-you-go, contract or SIM-only contract
• Take calls on any SIM enabled tablet by using the in-built speaker or through headphones
• If you're interested in adding these features to your tablet, then please select the 'Yes' option for SIM card required when placing your order.

Please note: All our Smartphones and Tablets can be operated with an external Bluetooth wireless keyboard (sold separately).
