The visuPlus active combines high definition real time magnification with high speed, full page width, text-to-speech. It folds flat to just 25mm thick and has a built in carry handle making it easy to transport.

With an 8 megapixel camera, text recognition results are good and live magnification is sharp. Images can be stored to the gallery for later use and the on screen image can even be streamed wirelessly to a television set.

The software has a built in accessible web browser and the tablet can also be “undocked”, allowing it to be used as a completely standard Android device when required.
