BlindShell have introduced some new and exciting updates for the BlindShell Classic 2 this October!. 

What's new?

Email 

• The update introduces the ability to have more than one email account.
• Support for more email providers including Google Workspace
• Support for HTML formatted messages
•  Attachments are now read via an integrated document reader - users will be prompted to download it from the Catalog when they try to read a document for the first time

Internet radio 

• You can now browse all stations (not only the top 100)
• Update to the listing of the stations
• Categories now show radio stations from other countries as well. (Unless a specific country is selected, in that case only the radio stations from that single country will be displayed.)

Checklist 

• A new application that allows you to create lists of items, e.g. shopping lists, or to-do lists
• Items on the list can be checked / unchecked, to track what is done/bought/finished

Card Wallet 

• Through this app users can store digitized information about loyalty or other cards.

Light sensor 

• An application that enables users to tell if a light is on or off

Software improvements

On Wednesday 26th October there will be a system update.

• Keyboard usability improvements
• Voice Control and Dictation Improvements
• Large font is now supported in keyboard 
• Pronunciation improvements
• New special characters menu using the # (hash) key
