OrCam Learn Basic has been developed to support students of all ages with learning and reading differences, like Dyslexia, ADHD and more.
OrCam Learn Basic was created to fully support students as they study. Integrated into day-to-day school life, it empowers students with learning challenges:
By simply pointing and clicking, OrCam Learn Basic instantly reads out loud a full page, paragraph, or single word, including from a book, digital screen, or classroom handout. Intuitive and compact, it fits seamlessly into any learner’s routine. It works completely offline and connects to wired and Bluetooth headphones for private listening.
The best way to practice reading is to read out loud. With the breakthrough "Reading Pal" feature, the student can improve reading fluency by reading any text to OrCam Learn and then receives conversational and encouraging feedback.
OrCam Learn Basic’s offline Exam Mode complies with school exam requirements and enables students to complete exams independently without the need for a separate device. This provides the students with consistency and more confidence during the most stressful periods of their study.
OrCam Learn helps improve reading fluency and accuracy for students of all ages with Learning and Reading Differences, including Dyslexia and ADHD
The OrCam Learn is amazing technology and I'm excited to see how it supports my child's learning and development by being able to access books independently.
My daughter has a shaky hand and had difficulty holding the Scanmarker Pro. It missed the odd letter which made the spoken text infuriating. She also found the voice irritating. The OrCam Learn Basic is better. The voice is easier to listen to and understand. There is also some inflection on the spoken words; more like a real person reading. I am impressed with this machine. She has almost finished her first novel and being able to read emails is a wonder to her.
